We believe that everyone deserves to be loved – no matter what. In Kenya, L Squared is on a
mission to help destitute communities thrive. The harsh realities of hunger, freshwater insecurity,
and lack of basic needs have put these communities in a state of crisis. But we choose to love
people wherever they are in life, and we will do what we can to show that love through practical
solutions, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. Our vision is to see these
communities not just survive, but thrive.

The Kenya Hunger Crisis

In the 2023 Global Hunger Index, Kenya ranks 90th out of 125 countries, with a score of 22.0
indicating a serious level of hunger. We believe that addressing this crisis with love and
compassion is essential to making a lasting impact.

Our Impact

At L Squared, we believe in the power of love to create change. Our impact in Kenya is a
testament to this belief.

Making a Change

We have delivered over 40 metric tons of life-saving food to Kenya’s devastated communities within the Rift Valley Province. Recently, we provided over 16 metric tons of disaster relief aid to flood victims in the interior villages of the Narok South area, including Maji Moto, Ntuka, and Narosura. These areas had been devastated by flooding and had not received any aid until our arrival. This effort was a collaboration between the State Department for Internal Security and our dedicated L Squared team.

Additionally, we delivered 16 metric tons of maize flour directly to remote native tribes in Turkana, Kenya, preventing starvation. We also supported multiple tribes within the Narok South region, specifically around the Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Our rapid response to natural disasters, with essential resources directly delivered by the L Squared team to the intended recipients, has prevented deaths from malnutrition and starvation in Turkana, Kenya.

Child Protection/Child Rescue Centers:

Our projects support schools, develop renewable food sources, and
fight human trafficking.
